At Monde, we develop and market an exclusive management software for travel agencies. For over 17 years, our team of 55 people has helped more than 2,500 clients optimize their businesses. We are looking for experienced professionals to help maintain and evolve a system that directly impacts the success of travel agencies across Brazil.

Our development team consists of high-level professionals committed to market best practices. We believe in automation — from builds to deploys and testing — if it’s repetitive, we automate it.
Workflow: We use GitHub for project management and follow the "Ship Show Ask" process for Pull Requests.

The Role

As a Senior Developer, you will:
- Work on improvements and bug fixes for a product used by thousands of people daily.
- Mentor less experienced developers through feedback, knowledge sharing, and pair programming.
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions.
- Dedicate part of your working hours to Open Source projects, as we value giving back to the community.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 5 years as a Developer.
  • Advanced Skills: Ruby on Rails, TDD (Test Driven Development), Clean Code, and SOLID principles.
  • Front-end: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Language: Fluent Portuguese and Advanced English (reading proficiency required).
  • Bonus Points: Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and AWS.
  • Versatility: Basic knowledge of other programming platforms and a strong grasp of software architecture.

Work Environment & Compensation

  • Location: Fully Remote (Global).
  • Schedule: 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday. Preferred availability between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM (BRT - Brasilia Time).
  • Contract Type: Independent Contractor (PJ).
