Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to focus on our user-facing responsive web application. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the front-end features—including analytics dashboards, player cards, and personalized coaching reports—that transform raw AI data into actionable insights for our users. This role involves full-stack development within the Rails ecosystem, emphasizing modern, highly performant, and scalable user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Feature Development: Architect and implement new user-facing features across the entire application stack using Ruby on Rails (API and rendering) and associated frontend technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues on both the front end and in the Rails backend, ensuring a fast and seamless user experience for gamers globally.
API Integration: Collaborate closely with our Machine Learning and Backend Engineering teams to integrate front-end features with our core AI services via RESTful API endpoints and RabbitMQ.
Code Quality: Write clean, well-tested, and highly maintainable code using best practices, design patterns, and appropriate testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec).
UI/UX Collaboration: Work with designers and product managers to translate high-fidelity designs and user requirements into functional, responsive, and visually appealing user interfaces.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience developing large-scale web applications.
Expert proficiency in Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework (version 7+ preferred).
Strong command of modern front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience with modern Rails approaches like Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus.
Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design.
Familiarity with common front-end build tools, package managers, and component libraries.
Demonstrated experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application reliability.
Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean, GCP) and working within a CI/CD environment.

Proficiency with Bootstrap and SCSS.
Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).
